The program
Opened in January 2024, CELDH is AILDD’s flagship clinical program in Accra. The center brings gastroenterology and hepatology services together with patient education, workforce development and research.
Areas of focus
Evaluation and treatment for liver and digestive conditions, with advanced endoscopy, imaging and cancer screening.
Clear guidance helps patients and families understand diagnoses, procedures, prevention and follow-up care.
Hands-on learning strengthens Ghana-based teams and creates capacity to train health professionals from across Africa.
